Educational institutions to get 22,500 buildings: Nahid

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Saturday said a total of 22,500 new buildings will be constructed at educational institutions across the country.

"These buildings will be multi-storey," the minister said at a programme held at International Mother Language Institute auditorium in the capital.

Since 2009, the government has constructed 10,500 buildings while around 2,000 buildings are under constructed at educational institutions to ensure education for all, the minister said.
