The results of first-year honours admission test of Dhaka University (DU) ‘Ka’ unit (science group) and ‘Cha’ unit under 2017-2018 session were published on Wednesday, reports UNB.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzaman formally pronounced the results around 1pm at the central admission centre office of administration building on the campus.
A total of 19,267 students have passed in the ‘Ka’ unit entry test with the pass rate of 23.37 per cent where 82,453 admission seekers appeared in test against 1,765 seats.
Meanwhile, in the ‘Cha’ unit, a total of 304 students have passed which is only 2.75 per cent of total 11,072 students who have contested against 135 seats.
The results are available on the university’s admission website admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
Or the admission seekers can get the results through mobile SMS typing DU Ka/Cha and sending it to 16321.
Passed students of ‘Ka’ unit have been asked to fill up their choice forms visiting the university website admission.eis.du.ac.bd from November 5 to November 15 and the ‘Cha’ unit students are asked to fill up their choice forms from 30 October to 30 October.
The ‘Ka’ unit intake test was held on Friday while ‘Cha’ unit test under Fine Art faculty was held on September 23.
