The Daffodil International University (DIU) has celebrated its 17th founding anniversary with gala events at Ashulia permanent campus.
The university took two day programme, which ended on Monday, To mark the founding anniversary.
The celebration programme included a weeklong Inter department sports competition, Math Olympiad, Inter University Cultural competition, IT Quiz, Project Showcasing and exhibition have been arranged.
The two day programs included Bus Rally, Pitha Utshab, Blood Donation Program, Discussion, Picnic, Tree Plantation, Games & Sports, Fun Events & Raffle Draw and gala musical soiree by the participation of the students.
Dr. Jonathan Ortman, President, Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) was present as the chief guest and delivered his speech as the ‘Founding Anniversary Speaker’ at the programme. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University presided over the ceremony.
Jonathan Ortmans said that Bangladesh is now a country of young population. He hoped Bangladesh will be changed through this young people.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said that Daffodil International University distributed more than 34 thousand laptop among the students with free of cost which he observed could help students building their career.
