Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) leaders visited Jahangirnagar University Press Club (JUPC) on Saturday on the occasion of Independence Day.
They exchanged greetings with the members of JUPC during the visit.
The DRU leaders were welcomed by JUPC President Emon Mahmud and General Secretary Nur Hasan Nayeem with a flower bouquet upon their arrival around 11:30 am.
DRU Led by President Nazrul Islam Mithu, General Secretary Nurul Islam Hasib and the members of the organisation discussed the future and current context of campus journalism.
They hoped that the JUPC would play a leading role in campus journalism.
DRU’s Office Secretary Rafiq Rafi, Akhtaruzzaman, Executive Member Solaiman Salman, SK Reza Parvez, Tanvir Ahmed, Mahmudul Hasan and others were present at that time.
