Standard Chartered has launched a new Signature Lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka recently, said a statement.
This is the Bank’s first dedicated airport lounge facility for its clients.
The new lounge is designed to offer guests the ultimate in luxury and convenience. The lounge features modern architecture, plush interiors, high speed WiFi connectivity and the best in-class catering.
The lounge was inaugurated by Mr. Rashed Khan Menon, MP, Minister, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, along with Mr S. M. Golam Faruk, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism; Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari, BBP, ndu, psc (retd), Chairman, Board of Directors, Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Air Vice Marshal M Naim Hassan, BBP, OSP, afwc, psc, Chairman, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh. Representing Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh was Naser Ezaz Bijoy, Chief Executive Officer and Aditya Mandloi, Head, Retail Banking, along with other senior staff of the Bank. Also present was Mahfuz Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer, Nakshikatha.

The state-of-the-art lounge will cater to the Priority Clients and premium cardholders of the Bank. The Signature Lounge will be managed and operated by Nakshikatha, said a statement.
