Kritoggo Foundation Bangladesh (previously known as Project Kritoggo) has stood by flood-affected people in Sylhet division, including Sylhet and Habiganj districts.
They initially distributed relief to 100 families on June 20 and 21, according to a press release received on Tuesday.
Mohammad Rakin and Abdul Mohsen Rubay, two key members of the Foundation, were present during the relief distribution.
On June 22, Miss Syeda Nadira Sumaiya, the founder president of Kritoggo Foundation Bangladesh, visited different flood-affected areas in Habiganj.
Along with the help of the chairman of 6 no Kurshi Union Parishad under the district’s Nabiganj upazila, and the police, Kritoggo Foundation distributed relief to 200 families at shelter centres across the mentioned union.
During the relief distribution at Raipur and Dulupur, Mukit Chowdhury, the freedom fighter affairs secretary of Bangladesh Central Awami Jubo League, and Kazi Obaidul Quader Helal, joint general secretary of Nabiganj Upazila Awami League, were present.
Kritoggo Foundation also extended help to the trans community in Sylhet at the time of the catastrophic flood.
