A dead goose that fell out of sky, knocked a hunter unconscious at Easton in the state of Maryland, a Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
The incident occurred when the 51-year-old Robert Meilhammer was hunting with three others and a fellow hunter fired on a flock of Canada geese overhead.
One of the geese which was shot dead, hit Meilhammer falling from the sky and knocked him out, says a global media report.
The bird weighed between 10 and 14 pounds (4.5-6.5kg), according to police.
A BBC report says the hunter suffered facial and head injuries but is in a stable condition in hospital.
