A young man was killed when a train crushed him in Ruhia area in Sadar upazila on Wednesday night while listening to songs on his mobile phone lying down on the railway tracks.
According to UNB report the deceased was Taherul Islam, 24, son of Azizul Islam of East Kujisahar village in Sadar upazila
“The youth was run over by a Parbatipur-bound Demu train nearby his house as he was absorbed in listening to music on his mobile set lying on railway tracks, said Pradip Kumar Roy, officer-in charge of Ruhia Police Station.
