Twelve more patients have died of Covid-19 at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the past 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday.
Of them, five were confirmed Covid-19 patients while the remaining showed symptoms of the virus, said hospital Brigadier General Shamim Yeazdani.
Eight of the deceased hailed from Rajshahi, two from Chapainawabganj, and one each from Natore and Naogaon districts, he added.
A total of 352 people, including 171 Covid-19 patients, died at the corona unit of the hospital between June 1 and 30, reports UNB.
Sixty-three new patients have been admitted to the hospital in the past 24 hours and 50 discharged post-recovery.
Some 460 people are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital against 405 beds at the corona unit of the hospital, officials said.
However, the hospital authorities are providing treatment to all after arranging additional beds, said Shamim.
