The protesting jobseekers, who have been demanding reforms in quota system in government job recruitments, have postponed their examination boycott programme.
They stated holy Ramadan and session jam at educational institutions as the reasons behind postponement.
"We are putting off our examination boycott programme considering the session jam and the holy month of Ramadan," Quota movement spokesman Hasan Al Mamun told a press conference in front of the Dhaka University Central Library in the capital on Saturday.
But, he said, they would continue class boycott programme until the government issues circular on quota system, reports BSS.
On May 14, the protesters announced the class and examination boycott programme after putting off their street blockade programme at Shahbagh, reports BSS.
