President Abdul Hamid on Monday returned home after wrapping up his four-day official visit to India.
A regular aircraft of Jet Airways flight No-9W272 carrying the President and his entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport at 4:15pm flying from New Delhi Indira Gandi International Airport at 2:05 pm (local time).
On his arrival at the airport, the President was received by Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury, Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon, dean of the diplomatic corps, cabinet secretary, chiefs of the three services, inspector general of police (IGP), and high civil and military officials.
Earlier, President Hamid left Dhaka for India to attend the 'Founding Conference of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and Solar Summit-2018' in New Delhi. He delivered his speech at the plenary session of the summit on Sunday morning.
He held a bilateral parley with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the solar summit at Rastrapati Bhavan, reports BSS.
