President Abdul Hamid has arrived back home on Thursday following his medical check-up in London.
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG202) carrying the President landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at11:15am, said President's Press Secretary M Joynal Abedin.
Hamid underwent medical check-up at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London, according to a UNB report.
The President was received by Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, dean of diplomatic corps and ambassador of Vatican to Bangladesh, British High Commissioner in Dhaka, chiefs of the three services, inspector general of police (IGP) and high civil and military officials at the VVIP Lounge of the airport.
President Hamid went to London for his health check-up on July 7.
