Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address a press conference on Wednesday to brief journalists about the outcomes of her recent India visit.
PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim on Tuesday said the press conference will be held at Ganabhaban at 4:00pm on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to Kolkata on May 25 on a two-day official visit to India, reports BSS.
During the visit, Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi jointly inaugurated ‘Bangladesh Bhaban’ at Visva Bharati University in Shantiniketan.
They also had a bilateral meeting at Bangladesh Bhaban. Sheikh Hasina also attended Visva Bharati Convocation Ceremony as the Guest of Honour.
The Prime Minister received Honorary Degree of Doctor of Literature at Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol.
She had a meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee too.
Besides, the premier visited historic ‘Jorasanko Thakur Bari’, the residence of Biswa Kabi Rabindranath Tagore, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Museum in Kolkata.
