The members of National Security Agency (NSI) arrested a man and seized 13 kilograms of gold ornaments worth around Tk 65 million from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
On a tip-off, on Saturday, a team of the security agency arrested Khawja Shahdat Hossain from Green Channel area of the airport. After searching his bag, they seized the gold, sources said.
The intelligence sources said Hossain came from Singapore on a flight of Regent Airways at 9:00 pm, according to a BSS report.
Legal actions have been taken in this regard, report added citing sources.
