The government has banned motorcycles from the Padma Bridge in the wake of congestion and complete disregard for the rules by the public on the newly inaugurated structure.
The Bridges Division announced the decision, effective from 6 am on Monday until further notice, in a notice on Sunday evening without citing any reason after the bridge was opened to traffic in the morning, reports bdnews24.com.
