More light to moderate showers are likely to drench Bangladesh in the next 24 hours, the weather department said on Tuesday.
Light to moderate rains or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes are likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, according to the weather bulletin, reports UNB.
Also showers are likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country, it said.
The low formed over the northwest Bay and adjoining the westcentral Bay now lies over the westcentral Bay and the adjoining Northwest Bay, said the forecast.
During the period, day temperature across the country may rise by 2-3 degrees and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
