The government has postponed a programme to celebrate the successful launch of Bangabandhu-1, country's first commercial satellite.
The decision was taken on Tuesday considering the worsening flood situation and inclement weather, reports UNB.
The programme was scheduled to be held at Bangabandhu International Convention Centre on June 24.
Bangladesh launched its first geostationary communications satellite, the Bangabandhu-1, into orbit by US space transport company SpaceX earlier on May 12.
