A fire broke out at a furniture shop adjacent to Malancha Community Centre in Jatrabari area of Dhaka on Friday noon, according to an official at the fire department.
The fire originated at 2:07 pm at the furniture shop, Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence media official M. Rayhan told The Financial Express.
On information, six units of the fire department rushed to the spot and the firefighters are working to extinguish the blaze.
However, the cause and fatalities of the blaze could not be known immediately.
