Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq has said the killing fields and graves of freedom fighters will get an identical design.
He said this while addressing the centennial anniversary celebration of Amirabad BC Laha High School at Sonagazi upazila in Feni district as the chief guest on Saturday, said a PID handout.
The minister said the killing fields and graves of freedom fighters, which now remain scattered across the country, will be preserved with an identical design so that the next generation can know the history of the Liberation War.
He said the government is determined to spread the spirit of the Liberation War among the new generation and to ensure the dignity of the freedom fighters.
Noting that there will be no place in the country for anti-liberation forces, Mozammel asked all to be vigilant so that anti-liberation forces never come to power.
Former MP Panna Kaiser, Superintendent of Police SM Jahangir ALam Sarkar and media personality Shomi Kaiser also spoke at the programme, presided over by the president of centennial anniversary celebration committee freedom fighter Abdul Hye, reports UNB.
