A doa mahfil for the late journalist of the daily The Financial Express (FE) Raihan M Chowdhury will be held after Asr prayers at his family residence at Shantinagar in the capital on Friday.
Relatives, friends, and well-wishers have been requested to attend the prayers at 138,Sheltech Rahman Villa in the city’s Shantinagar area to seek eternal peace for his departed soul.
Raihan M Chowdhury passed away while undergoing treatment at Islami Bank Central Hospital in Dhaka on October 22.
Raihan had been involved in journalism for more than three decades. He had been working for the FE since 1996. He also worked as the FE's senior business editor.
Prior to joining the FE, he worked for The Morning Sun and The New Nation.
