A young man was stabbed to death at Bagmara village of Rupsha upazila in Khulna on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Sharjil Islam Shongram, 26, son of MujiburRahman of Bagmara village.
Anisur Rahman, additional superintendent of Khulna Police, said an unidentified youth stabbed Shongram in front of a shop in the area and fled the scene.
Locals rescued Shongram and admitted him to Khulna Medical College Hospital where he died.
The motive behind the killing could not be known yet, he said, reports UNB.
