VDP man held with ‘Yaba tablets’ in Satkhira

A Village Defence Party (VDP) member was held allegedly along with 20 Yaba tablets from Fultala intersection of the district town on Friday morning.

The arrestee is Saiful Islam, a VDP member of Alipur union parishad in Sadar upazila and son of late Daud Hossain of Hatkhola village in the upazila.

On information, police conducted a drive in the area in the morning and arrested Saiful along the contraband tablets, said Abdul Aziz, in-charge of Itagachha police camp, reports UNB.
