Police arrested the president of Islami Chhatra Shibir of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) unit from the campus over subversive activities on Monday.
The arrestee was Nasir Uddin, student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) department of the university, a news agency reported.
Mehedi Hasan, the Officer-in-Charge of Motihar Police Station, said that a team of police arrested Nasir Uddin, when he went out from a hall around 5:00 pm after appearing at an examination.
Earlier, Nasir was held in November 2 in 2016. Several cases were filed against him over sabotage charges, the OC added.
