RAB nabs two with 16,000 Yaba pills in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two suspected drug pedlars along with 16,000 Yaba tablets from Jaliapara area in Teknaf upazila under Cox’s Bazar region on Friday night.

The arrestees are Md Hashem, 38, son of Abdul Kader and Md Kamal Hossain, 40, son of Altaj Miah, residents of the area, UNB reported.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-7 raided the house of Hashem at around 9:00 pm and arrested the criminals along with Yaba tablets worth Tk 8 million, said a RAB press release.
