A man along with different Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP) instruments was arrested by Member of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from the city’s Bakolia area early Friday.
The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Salahudding Kader Chowdhury, 37.
UNB said the seized VoIP instruments include four laptops, 877 SIMs of different operators, few pen drives and a modem.
Senior assistant director (Media) of Rab-7 Mimtanur Rahman said tipped off they raided the building and recovered the instruments around 1:30 am.
