Nur Hossain, a condemned convict in the sensational Narayanganj seven-murder case, was shown arrested in a graft case filed with Ramna Police Station in 2016.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Pranab Kumar Hui passed the order on Wednesday with Nur standing in the dock.
The court order came after Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Assistant Director Md Shafiullah Nur, also investigation officer of the case, filed a petition with it on April 3.
On August 1, 2016, the ACC filed the case with Raman Police Station against Nur Hossain for amassing wealth illegally and concealing information about property in the wealth statement.
The anti-graft body asked Nur to submit his wealth statement. He, however, hid information of wealth worth Tk 28,547,000 in the report submitted to the ACC.
He also acquired illegal wealth worth Tk 30,383,000, according to the case statement, reports UNB.
