A man was stabbed to death allegedly by muggers at Bejpara in the Jashore district town.
The deceased was identified as Chandan Kumar Ghosh, 38.
Abul Bashar, Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station, said a group of muggers waylaid Chandan while he was returning home around 8pm on Tuesday and tried to loot valuables from him.
Being resisted, the muggers stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured, reports UNB.
Later, he was taken to local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 5am, police said.
