A mobile court in Rajshahi on Thursday sentenced 23 people to six months' jail for drug abuse.
Mahbubul Alam, director of RAB-5, said the elite force in a drive arrested 20 'drug addicts' from different parts of Godagari upazila.
Besides, a team of police arrested three drug addicts from the same upazila.
Later, a mobile court, led by Godagari UNO and executive magistrate Shimul Akhter, sentenced them to six months' jail each when they were produced before the court, reports UNB.
All the convicts were sent to jail at night, said RAB.
