A truck driver was stabbed to death by miscreants in sadar upazila of Jhenaidah.
The deceased was identified as Manirul Islam, 32, a truck driver and son of Najir Biswas.
A group of miscreants swooped on Manirul at Zadabpur Dakkhinpara village of the district and stabbed him indiscriminately at around 11:00 pm on Thursday night, said Mahsin Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
When he was taken to a local hospital, the duty doctors declared the victim dead.
Police are working to find the motive behind the murder, added the OC.
