A cattle trader was stabbed to death at Dharmapur village in Rowmari upazila early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Mannan, 40, son of late Jalil, a resident of the same village in the upazila.
Family sources said three people- Sifat, Mukul and Dulal-called Mannan out of the house around 1am. Later they fled away leaving the blood-stained body of Mannan in the house.
Jamalpur BGB-35 commander Lt Col Mohiuddin said Manna's body was found in a house 400 metres off barbed fence along the border.
He might have been stabbed to death with a sharp weapon, he said.
Rowmari Police Station Sub Inspector Rana said police were sent to recover the body, reports UNB.
