Detectives in a drive arrested a young man along with 27,600 Yaba tablets from Malibagh Chowdhurypara in the city on Sunday night.
The arrestee is Mohammad Shakil, 19.
Tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Shakil along with the Yaba pills around 6:15pm, said Walid Hossain, deputy commissioner of DMP (media).
After primary interrogation, police came to know that Shakil had long been involved in drug trading, reports UNB.
