Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 2007 pieces of yaba tablets from Terorashia area under Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila this afternoon.
Sources at RAB-5 said, on secret information, an operational team of the elite force from Chapainawabganj camp raided the aforesaid area around 1: 45pm and arrested Shafiqul, 48, with the contraband drug.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the Chapainawabganj Sadar police station. A case was filed in this connection, reports BSS.
