Detective Branch (DB) personnel arrested two young men along with a foreign pistol at Shimrail in Siddhirganj upazila of Narayanganj district on Thursday night
The arrestees were identified as Jahangir Alam, 34, and Akhter Hossain, 36, reports UNB.
Mahbubur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Narayanganj DB police, said the detectives waylaid two motorcyclists, heading towards Dhaka from Rupganj upazila, based on secrete information around 9:00 pm.
As the two motorcyclists -- Jahangir and Akhter -- tried to flee the scene, the law enforcers caught them forcibly and recovered a foreign pistol loaded with four bullets after searching their bodies, said the Mahbubur Rahman.
