A schoolgirl was found hanging in a house at Munchefpara in the district town early Friday.
The deceased was Khadija Begum, 15, a class-X student of Anandamoyi Girls High School and daughter of Mamunur Rashid of Ashuganj upazila.
She used to live at her uncle's house in the district town.
on information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, said M Nabir Hossian, said UNB citing officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
The cause of her death will be ascertained after autopsy, he added.
