District police in special drives arrested 82 people in various charges from the different upazilas of the district from last night to Friday morning.
Additional Police Super of Jhenidah Ajbahar Ali Sheikh said a week long special drive is being continued in the district against terrorism, drug abuse and subversive activities, reports BSS.
Among the detainees 42 people were held from Sadar upazila, 13 from Shailokupa, 7 in Harinakunda, 6 people were arrested from Kaliganj upazila and 14 from Kotchandpur and Moheshpur upazilas.
