Criminal Investigation Department (CID) members arrested the controller of an international human trafficking racket from Dhaka city's Karwan Bazar area on Sunday.
The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Asem.
Sharmin, senior assistant superintendent of CID, said a CID team conducted a drive in the area and arrested Asem, reports UNB.
Details about the arrest will be disclosed at a press briefing later.
