An indigenous man was beaten to death by miscreants at North Bangatali of Baghaichhari in Rangamati on Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Mission Chakma, an activist of Parbatiya Chattogram Jana Sanghati Samity (MN Larma).
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Baghaichhari Police Station Amir Hossain said a group of miscreants picked Mission up from his house around 10:30 pm on the day and beat him to death, said a UNB report.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, the OC added.
