Three people were killed and three others injured as a truck collides head-on with a CNG-run-auto-rikshaw on Mymensingh-Tangail highway at Gabtoli in Muktagachha upazila on Tuesday noon.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Ali Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Muktagachha Police Station, said the collision took place around 12 pm, leaving two passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on spot and four others injured.
Later, one died on way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital while the others are undergoing treatment there, he added.
Police seized the truck but its driver and helper managed to flee the scene, the OC said, reports UNB.
