An elderly woman was killed as a bus crushed her on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj highway at Godagari municipal area in Rajshahi on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rasheda Begum, 60, wife of Sarangpur Policepara.
Sub-inspector Ali Akbar of Godagari Model Police Station said a Chapainawabganj-bound bus hit Rasheda around 8:30 am while she was crossing the highway, leaving her dead on spot, reports UNB.
