The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) arrested three engineers of the Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) over graft charges.
ACC arrested them while conducting a special drive on Sunday
The arrestees are-- assistant engineers Golam Sarwar and Hamidul Haque, and deputy assistant engineer Jahangir Alam.
Nurul Islam, assistant additional director of ACC, said that a team arrested them from CDA building of the port city at noon.
Emran Hossain, inspector (prosecution) of ACC, said that some 30 cases were filed in connection with CDA corruption during the last caretaker government, according to UNB.
The three engineers have been shown arrested in the cases which are under trial, the inspector added.
