Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique has attached special importance to speedy disposal of the cases piled in the courts across the country.
He said this while addressing District and Sessions Judges and equivalent officers working across the country at a program organised at the Supreme Court Auditorium on Tuesday. The other judges of the Appellate Division were also present on the occasion.
In the programme, the Chief Justice expressed various opinions on how to dispose of the cases quickly. He instructed everyone to conduct the trial proceedings properly so that the litigants can return home quickly from the court premises.
A total of 320 officials of the rank of District Judge were present at the programme. Among them, 12 judges gave speeches on behalf of the district judges.
Recently, in some district courts, some unwanted situation created between the lawyers and the judges. District Judges brought the issues to the notice of Chief Justice.
Then the Chief Justice said, “Everyone should maintain the decorum of the court. Any incident of misconduct with any judge should be reported to the Chief Justice. Everyone should strive to protect the image and dignity of the court.”
