Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda has expressed satisfaction over elections in three cities despite allegations of rigging and other irregularities.
“The election was fair, except for some stray incidents in Barishal and Sylhet,” the CEC said at a press briefing after the voting ended at 4pm on Monday.
In response to a query, Huda said: “Yes, I am satisfied,” reports bdnews24.com.
The EC has suspended voting at three centres and frozen results in 15 out of 395 polling stations in the three cities.
