Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) and Bangla Academy will jointly organise a 10-day long Boishakhi Mela at the Bangla Academy premises marking the Bangla New Year.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu will inaugurate the fair on April 14. The fair will remain open for public from 10:00am to 9:00pm till April 23, reports UNB.
Around 200 stalls will be installed in the fair offering different traditional products like handicrafts, hand-woven fabrics, jute-goods and Jamdani saris, the report said.
Craftsmen will make their products at 10 stalls and also sell those from there.
Besides, there will be folk festivals in each evening.
