The Bangladeshis, stranded in Afghanistan, are likely to be evacuated by this week, said State Minister M Shahriar Alam on Sunday.
“We are trying to evacuate the Bangladeshi citizens and we are in discussion with ‘third party’ in this regard” he added.
However, he did not give details of the arrangements.
Bangladesh Mission in Uzbekistan is monitoring the evacuation situation and they are in regular touch, said Mr Alam.
According to reports around two dozen Bangladeshis, including a team of Tablig Jamaat are stranded in Afghanistan, following the takeover of power by the Taliban forces.
Besides seven Bangladeshis, who have been working in a telecom company, are waiting to leave Kabul.
