Turkey has detained 211 undocumented migrants, including Bangladeshis, while trying to cross over into Greece and Bulgaria.
Among them are also Syrians, Palestinians Afghans, Pakistanis, Iranians, Iraqis, Libyans, Moroccans and Sri Lankans, reports Anadolu Agency.
They all have been held in Turkey's northwestern Edirne province, said a gendarmerie source, who sought anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, on Friday.
Turkish border soldiers and gendarmerie forces carried out inspections in several villages of Edirne and in Uzunkopru, Meric, and Ipsala districts, according to the source.
