BAF chief meets Indian officials in New Delhi

Chief of Bangladesh Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat met Indian high civil and military officials separately in New Delhi on Monday.

The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) chief made a courtesy call on Chief of Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa at the Air Headquarters, said an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) release on Tuesday evening.

During the meeting, they discussed various bilateral issues that furthered previous regular talks between the two air forces.

The meeting preceded by wreath laying at Amar Jawan Jayoti at India Gate of Delhi on Monday morning and a Guard of Honour at the Vayu Bhaban (Air Headquarters).

Later, the BAF chief had an eventful discussion with Chief of Staff, Indian Army General Bipin Rawat and Vice Chief of Staff, Indian Navy.

An insightful discussion with Indian Defence Secretary Sanjay Mitra was also organised on the same day.

Besides, Masihuzzaman Serniabat is scheduled to visit different military establishments at Jodhpur, Bangalore and Hyderabad during his visit to India, reports UNB.
