As many as 538 more diarrhoea patients were admitted to the icddr,b, an international health research institute in Dhaka, in 15 hours till 3:00pm on Thursday.
AKM Tariful Islam Khan, media manager of icddr,b, confirmed this to The Financial Express (FE).
“The growing number of diarrhoea patients is on the declining trend,” he added.
A total of 837 patients were hospitalised on Wednesday while 962 patients were hospitalised on Tuesday.
Some 900 patients were admitted on Monday.
As many as 905 patients were hospitalised on Sunday, while at least 953 diarrhoea patients were admitted to the hospital on Saturday.
