A 50-year-old man was found dead inside a toilet at Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka Thursday, police said.
The identity of the man could not immediately be confirmed, reports UNB.
The matter came to light when passengers waiting at the station were unable to use the toilet as the occupant was not responding. When the officials opened the door around 1 pm, the unidentified man was found lying on the floor.
Railway Police took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead at 2:30pm, Constable Alam Uddin of Kamalapur Railway Police Station, said.
Police are yet to ascertain if it is a case of suicide, murder or accidental death.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue for post-mortem examination, Alam Uddin said.
