At least 32 international flights failed to meet their departure schedules at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka on Friday.
From 12:00am to 2:00pm, 32 international flights were late for 5 minutes to nearly 22 minutes than their original departure times, said sources at Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
Of them, BG 191 was scheduled to leave for Kolkata at 8:15 am, but it departed at 8:37 am, making a 22-minute late.
Besides, Kuwait Airways from Kuwait landed the airport at 8:05, making 10-minute late.
BG 087 from Kuala Lumpur arrived there at 9:06am, which was scheduled to arrive at 6:00am, making 3 hours late.
BG 128 from Abu Dhabi came at the airport, making 28 minutes late.
From 12:00am to 12:00pm, 34 international flights landed the airport maintaining their arrival schedules, the sources added.
