The government has appointed new deputy commissioners to 22 districts, including Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Rangpur, Sylhet and Mymensingh.
The Public administration ministry issued an order on Sunday over the decision, said bdnews24.
According to the order, nineteen districts got new DCs while three DCs of Thakurgaon, Narsingdi and Kurigram were transferred to Mymensingh, Jessore and Dhaka.
Jessore, Chandpur, Comilla, Bandarban, Netrokona, Satkhira, Shariatpur, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Rangamati, Cox’s Bazar, Jhenaidah, Bhola, Kurigram, Narsingdi and Habiganj districts are among 19 ones, which received new deputy commissioners.
